Face
The goal of any cosmetic procedure is to compliment the natural contours of a patient’s appearance. This is especially true of facial plastic surgeries, as our facial features often reflect key aspects of our identity, namely our gender and ethnic background. A skilled facial surgeon knows how to retain a patient’s organic beauty.
Under the face lies a complex network of tissue, muscle and nerves – a system with which Dr Vlad Milovic, our Specialist Plastic Surgeon, has become extensively familiar after more than two decades in practice. Rest assured that he will consider your every cosmetic and medical need when creating an individualised plan for your facial plastic surgery treatment.

Facelift
A facelift, or “rhytidectomy,” involves the surgical manipulation of the facial tissue and muscle. The procedure can include the tightening of lax or sagging skin, redistribution of facial fat and reduction of lines and wrinkles. Depending on your cosmetic goals, Dr Milovic can employ one of several facelift techniques, such as the “deep plane” or MACS method.

Mini Facelift
The “mini facelift” is generally performed to address mild to moderate laxity or wrinkles in the lower region of the face. A “mini facelift” typically makes for a less invasive procedure and quicker recovery time than a traditional facelift, though individual results may vary.
Neck Lift
In the hands of a qualified surgeon like Dr Milovic, neck lift surgery can create a slimmer and more defined chin, jawline and upper neck. Candidates usually wish to enhance this very noticeable area of the face.
“I prefer to hand draw on my patient’s photos during our consultation. For me, this is an authentic and more accurate way of discussing goals and anticipated results. The hand that draws, is the same one which will be holding the scalpel.”
Forehead/Brow Lift
Whereas facelift surgery targets the mid-to-lower area of the face, a forehead (or “brow”) lift is designed to contour the upper third of the face. This is the region where many patients notice the first signs of ageing.
Dr Milovic generally employs two types of brow lift strategies:
- The Classic Brow Lift. In this traditional method, an incision is made at the ear level and extends around the hairline. Dr Milovic can use this technique to shorten the forehead, elevate the eyebrows and remove excess skin.
- The Endoscopic Brow Lift. To perform an endoscopic brow lift, Dr Milovic places several small incisions across the treatment area and uses an endoscope – or a small device with a camera attached – to view the tissue and muscles beneath the skin. This method generally warrants a shorter recovery time and less visible scarring.
Blepharoplasty
Also known as an “eyelid lift,” blepharoplasty can contribute to a vibrant, alert expression when performed by an experienced plastic surgeon. The procedure, which is employed to reduce age-related concerns on or surrounding the eyelids, can both contour the eyelid areas and even improve vision for individuals having trouble seeing clearly due to excess skin hanging over their eyes.
Depending on your personal case, Dr Milovic can perform one of the following blepharoplasty techniques:
- Composite upper blepharoplasty, which can address concerns in the upper eyelids.
- Tarsal fixation, in which the structures of the eyelid are repositioned to create a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
- Ptosis correction, in which the upper eyelid is elevated to combat eyelid ptosis.
Fat Grafting
Fat grafting is a highly versatile technique used in many cosmetic procedures, including breast and body enhancement surgeries. It involves the harvesting of fat with liposuction from a donor site and the subsequent re-injection of the fat into areas that have lost volume. As a facial plastic surgery, fat grafting can create a more refreshed and youthful profile.
Double Chin Reduction & Neck Liposuction
Dr Milovic can administer liposuction techniques to slim and sculpt the chin and neck. This procedure is sometimes incorporated into neck lift surgery, as patients who wish to tighten excess neck skin frequently also want to reduce submental fat.
